How Mercedes-Benz of Jacksonville Helps the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund
Together with Mercedes-Benz USA, our Mercedes-Benz dealership donates to this vital organization with each Mercedes-Benz vehicle sold in the United States. The Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund helps provide eligible veterans and family members of military with college scholarships and other educational assistance.
The Johnny Mac story begins with the West Point class of 1986 when a group of classmates banded together to help the family of a fallen friend. The Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund officially formed in 2014 with the mission to give back through education, where scholarships are funded through nonprofit partner organizations, which include:

- Commit Foundation
- Fallen Patriots
- Folds of Honor
- Freedom Alliance
- No Greater Sacrifice
- Tragedy Assistance Program For Survivors
Mercedes-Benz USA got involved with the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund in 2016 when it committed to a sponsorship wherein a donation would be made for each vehicle sold nationwide in 2016 and 2017. Over those two years alone, Mercedes-Benz donated over $2,800,000 to the fund.
