The 2020 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter is launching next year. That “e” in the name isn’t just for show. This new cargo van is completely battery powered. It will offer two different battery packs; depending on your needs, you can opt for the 41 kWh battery or 55 kWh battery. These aren’t necessarily built for long highway drives, but they’re ideal for making deliveries or picking up supplies in more urban environments.
This battery tech is impressive, but you still have to be able to haul everything you need for the job at hand. Fortunately, the new Mercedes-Benz eSprinter won’t disappoint in that department. When equipped with the 55 kWh battery, it can handle up to 1,984 pounds. The 41 kWh model can handle more weight, up to 2,293 pounds.
We’re also gearing up for the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. This van features some of the latest amenities, such as a 360-degree camera, active brake assist, and active distance assist DISTRONIC. In-cab features that help provide drivers with a convenient ride include USB ports, smartphone integration, and intelligent voice control.
